Robert “Bob” Olmsted

Olmsted, Robert "Bob", of Troy, Missouri, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the age of 86. Cherished husband of almost 64 years to Theresa Olmsted; dear son of the late Elbert Ray and Theresa Helen Olmsted; cherished father of Vicky (Robert) Egan and Alan (Angie) Olmsted; beloved grandfather of Shannon (Zac) Turnbow, Sean Olmsted, Eric Smith, Kelsey Ann Smith and Shane Olmsted; great-grandfather of Gabrielle and Alexis Turnbow; dear brother of Betty (Jerry) Hughes; Also survived by many other relatives and friends from Arkansas and around the US. Bob enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, boating, working on anything with a motor, especially cars, keeping up the farm and wood working. He was a proud Veteran, was a member of Merril's Marauders and VFW 8828. in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans Home, 10600 Lewis & Clark Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63136.
