Robert "Bob" Hauenstein

Robert J. Hauenstein, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Christi Hauenstein; cherished son of Francis and Marie Hauenstein. Devoted father of Stacey (Ryan) Enge and Randolph (Keri) Thoroughman Jr.; loving grandfather of Caleb and Audrey Enge, Luke and Ainsley Thoroughman; dear brother of George Hauenstein, John (Lisa) Hauenstein, and James (Barb) Hauenstein; father-in-law, Douglas White, Sr. 

Bob began work at Schnucks in high school and retired in 2012 after working in produce for over 35 years. His grandchildren were his greatest love, and he never missed an activity they were involved in. He owned a farm in Williamsburg which he thoroughly enjoyed and had a second family there which meant the world to him. He loved the outdoors and could often be found gardening, hunting, and fishing which he passed along to his children and grandchildren. He was everyone's Papa and never met a stranger.

Bob was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made in Bob's name to Missouri Department of Conservation and Backstoppers.
