Memorials may be made to the United States Humane Society. Robert was the beloved son of the late Robert Frederick and Lena Ober; loving spouse of the late Pauline M. Ober; devoted father of Roberta A. (Ronald D.) Van Dyke; cherished brother of Shirley Hess; dear grandfather of three and great-grandfather of 2. Mr. Ober served in the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW Post in St. Peters and the Missouri Painter’s Union in St. Louis.
