Richard Scharnhorst

Scharnhorst, Richard, of Troy, Missouri, died on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the age of 75. Loving husband of the late Angela Verme; beloved son of the late Grant and Edna Scharnhorst; devoted father of Jana Scharnhorst, Diana (Bob) Henry, and Greg (Lora) Scharnhorst; dear brother of Grant (Ada) Scharnhorst, Jr., Devon Scharnhorst, and Denis (Patty) Scharnhorst; former husband of Barbara Scharnhorst; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister Marlene Skaggs.

Richard loved the outdoors, refurbishing guns and his dogs. He was a Gun and Hunting Enthusiast. Richard was a member of the Lincoln County Fox Hunters Association, lifetime member of the NRA, and a member of the Francis Howell Baseball and Basketball Teams from 1952 to 1956 and the EMBA.
