Richard "Rocky" Rockwell

Richard “Rocky” Rockwell, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Judith A. Rockwell; cherished son of the late Elsie and Harry Claude Rockwell; devoted father of Veronica (Tony), Steve (Shailee), John (Tanya), the late Keith, the late Richard, and the late Dawn; loving grandfather of sixteen, great-grandfather of eighteen, and great great-grandfather of one; treasured dad of three fur babies; dear brother of Fran "Happy"; beloved uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend to many.

Rocky retired after 60 passionate years of working in the aviation industry. He worked on everything from space shuttles, 747 planes, to private jets and Stealth Fighters, just to mention a few. Rocky was heavily involved in ministry with a strong love for the Lord and his church family. Rocky was a much-loved brother, mentor, encourager, and leader. He was also an avid golfer. Rocky was a devoted family man, married to the love of his life, Judy, for 45 wonderful years. His family was his world. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Rocky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Troy First Assembly of God Church in Troy, MO in January. Date and times pending.
