Richard "Rick" C. Pelton

Richard “Rick” C. Pelton, Jr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the age of 70. Beloved son of Patricia and the late Richard C. Pelton, Sr.; loving significant other of Teresa 'Teri' Hercules; devoted father of Kristel (Sean) Hagan, Karlee (Bryce) Burr, and Paige Hercules; cherished grandfather of Lillian Hagan, Lucas Hagan, Alaina Hagan, Brantt Burr; dear brother of Pam Lamm and Scott Pelton; and is also survived by his closest friend, Mark Daniels. Rick is also preceded in death by his brother, Craig Pelton.

Rick could be best described as a professional grandpa who adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. He was the proud owner of Mid-America Piering for 40 years. He had a deep love for the water, and boating was truly his life. He cherished spending time on the river with his family and making lasting memories together. When relaxing at home, Rick enjoyed watching classic westerns, especially those starring his favorite actor, John Wayne. He was also a devoted St. Louis Blues fan and loved classic cars, especially his corvette. Rick was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Richard's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
