Richard Paul “Rick” Bockelkamp

Richard Paul "Rick" Bockelkamp, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the age of 58. Rick was the loving husband of Dawn M. Bockelkamp (née: Schreck); beloved son of the late Willard B. and Margaret Bockelkamp: devoted father of Heather Bockelkamp and Scott (Andrea) Bockelkamp; loving brother of Don (Delores) Bockelkamp and brother-in-law of Terry Bockelkamp; dear son-in-law of Sandy and Joe Schreck; uncle of Brett and Ryan Bockelkamp; and beloved brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his brother, Frank Bockelkamp; and nephew, Jeff Bockelkamp. Rick served his country in the U.S. Airforce for 20 years before retiring as a Master Sergeant E-7. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a school bus driver for Fort Zumwalt School District for 3 years. Prior to that, he was a coordinator/trainer for Francis Howell School District. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and RV camping. Memorials may be made to Batten Disease Support & Research Association.
