Richard Martin Sr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Jessie Martin; cherished son of the late William and Dorothy Martin; devoted father of Elaine (Jack) Kaelber, Richard "Butch" Martin, Jr., Karen (Bob) Koeller, Janet (Mike) Trojahn; loving grandfather of Sonya Jones, Sara Jones, Kelby Martin, Jolene Potter, Madison Koeller, Morgan Koeller and the late Mikey Trojahn; treasured great-grandfather of Jaxxson Jones, Grant Prouhet and Westin Shelton; dear brother to 8 late siblings; Richard is also dearly loved by his extended family in Arizona.
Richard was married for close to 50 years to his wife, Jessie, whom he adored. He was a sweet, caring man with a big heart; who would always help those in need.
Richard was an independent and proud business owner, and was always looking for ways to improve his business and expand his knowledge. He loved working and was always remodeling something in his home and enjoyed learning new things.
In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed visiting his family in Arizona and spent many years going to Traffic Jam where he made many lifelong friends and participated in raising money for various charities. Richard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
