Ayres, Sr., Richard M. "Rich", of Belleville, died on February 20, 2012 at the age of 69. Husband of Gayle; son of the late Ryland and Margaret Ayres; father of Deborah (Terry) Bethmann, Patricia (Jeff) Prouhet, Jeanne Ayres, Barbara (Greg) Karpowich; Richard Ayres, Jr. and Ryland Ayres; step-father of Kevin Scronce; grandfather of 7; brother of Margaret Ayres Nelson. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ryland Michael Ayres. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
