Richard Eldon Knarr, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Connie Knarr; beloved son of the late Lucille and Richard Knarr; devoted father of Rick Knarr, Joseph (Christina) Knarr, and Tricia (Ed) Baughn; cherished grandfather of Kristina, Markus, Tiffany, and Ryan; treasured great-grandfather of Chase and Christopher; dear brother of Bob (Linda) Knarr. Richard is also preceded in death by his brother, Tom (Diane, survives) Knarr.

Richard honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. A strong and passionate man, he deeply valued education and hard work. He shared 37 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Connie, until his passing.

Richard earned multiple degrees in various fields. He spent over 30 years working at Monsanto before retiring to pursue his passion for antiques by opening his own shop. A dedicated collector, he found great joy in exploring history through his treasures.

Richard had a love for fishing, travel, and music. He was a devoted father who inspired his children to aim high. He shared a special bond with his loyal dog, Bella. Loved by all who knew him, Richard’s presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

Memorials may be made in Richard's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
