Richard James Deason, of Foley, MO, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Sharon Deason; cherished son of Renate Deason and the late Billy Deason; devoted father of Josh (Jenny) Deason, Alyssa Deason, Andrea Deason, Victoria (Jeremy) Nichols, Zachary (Becca) Deason, Casey (Brandon) Redman and stepfather of Nicholas (Michele) Guthrie and Greg Guthrie; loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren; dear brother of 8 siblings.
Richard loved life and often had a smile on his face. Family and friendship meant a lot to him. Richard enjoyed travelling and was lucky enough to find a career that allowed him that privilege. He would travel all over the U.S. driving over the road. Richard was an avid sports fan. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoyed fishing in the local parks and ponds. He liked baking and was an excellent cake decorator. Richard was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to Wounded Warrior Project or Backstoppers.
