Richard Gene Grantham

Richard G. Grantham, of Florissant, MO, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Joan L. Grantham and the cherished son of the late Lester E. and Mildred E. Grantham. A devoted father, he is survived by Sheri (Mark) Boyle and Amy (Jacob) Leslie. He was a loving grandfather to Conner Boyle, Aislinn Boyle, and Jacob Leslie II. Richard was the dear brother of the late Karoline Broshous and a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Richard served honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion post #444 in Florissant, MO. His spiritual dedication was evident by his devout membership at Church on the Rock in St. Peters, MO, and his prior role as a Deacon at the Parker Road Baptist Church. His life was marked by unwavering faithfulness and dedicated service to God.

Richard and Joan were avid bowlers, engaging in the sport for many years through league participation. His hobbies also included golf, but his most profound passion was photography. Richard frequently captured the essence of family life through his lens, creating a treasured visual legacy of countless cherished moments. Above all, he was deeply committed to his community, serving as a steadfast protector and devoted family man.

Richard was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
