Richard Thomas Gebken

Richard Thomas “Tom” Gebken, of Florissant, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Bobbie “Sue” Ford – Gebken; cherished son of the late Clarence and Helen Gebken; devoted father of Thomas Michael (Victoria L) Gebken, the late Geri Lynn Gebken, and the late William Scott Gebken; loving grandfather of Christopher Scott (Calli) Gebken, Victoria Blair (Nick) Self, and Sarah Catherine (Alex) Hurt; treasured great grandfather of Lochlyn, Wells, and Knox Self, Cruz and Cove Gebken. Tom was also survived by Sue's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Gebken and his four siblings.

Tom proudly and honorably served in the United States Coast Guard. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Tom was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather and he loved golfing, gardening, and woodworking. A friend to everyone, he was also an animal lover. Tom was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
