Richard F. Rudowicz

Rudowicz, Richard F., of Hazelwood, MO, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, died on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at the age of 85. Loving husband of Delores Rudowicz; beloved son of the late Xavier and Stella Rudowicz; devoted father of Dianne (Dennis) Carson, Laurie (Michael) Volz, and Richard (Julie) Rudowicz; cherished grandfather of Chad Carson, Rachel Volz, Steven Volz, John Rudowicz, and Mary Rudowicz.
Richard graduated from Central High School, St. Louis, Missouri, in 1947 at the age of 16. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1952 and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal, to care for his widowed mother. He graduated from Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in June, 1960, and was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda honorary fraternity. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, cribbage, and playing horseshoes, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.
Memorials may be made to the Shrine of St. Joseph.
