In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Missouri Veteran's Home or Heartland Hospice. CALLAHAN, Richard E. ’Ed’, O’Fallon, MO, October 19, 2005 age 65; dearest husband of Kathleen A. Callahan; devoted father of Rick Callahan (Michelle), Jill Saake (Karl), Matt Callahan (Becky) and Kevin Callahan (Yvonne); dear brother of Ben Callahan (Joyce), James Callahan (Johanna) and Sally Hagen (Richard), he was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters, (John, Larry, Joe, Ray and Patrick Callahan, Mary Frame, Martha Callahan, Charlotte Burton, Lydia Callahan and Peggy Misko.) He was the beloved grandfather of 11; (Ryan, Alyssa, Tyler, Riley, Taylor, McKinzie, Hadleigh and Mollie Callahan, Emma, Ethan and Kyle Saake.) Mr. Callahan was a member of Discovery Church, D.A.V. and Paralyzed Veteran's Association. He was a banker for Mercantile Bank for 20 years until his retirement.
