Richard Alan Croner

Richard Alan Croner, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the age of 80. Cherished son of the late Alan and Erlyne Croner; devoted father of Matthew (Sarah) Croner and Scott (Janty) Croner; loving grandfather of Shelby Croner, Cruz Croner and Pierce Croner.

Richard proudly and honorably served in the United States Army.

Richard enjoyed sailing, scuba diving, biking, traveling, and reading. An avid reader, he could finish a book a day and had a deeply intellectual nature. He was known for his dry sense of humor and his curiosity about the world. Richard worked in sales for many years and was a true jack of many trades, always eager to learn and explore new skills.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Richard's name to Salvation Army.
