Richard Casperson

Richard Elmer Casperson, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Bernadine Casperson; cherished son of the late James G. and Evelyn E. Casperson. Devoted father of Rebecca (Willie) Casperson-Perkins and the late James John Casperson; loving grandfather of Kandace Perkins, William Evyn (Samantha) Perkins, Jameson Perkins, Austin Perkins, Ashlynn Perkins, and Keagan Perkins; treasured great-grandfather of Charlotte Perkins, Allison Perkins, and Anna Perkins; dear brother of Michael (Tammy) Casperson, Stephen (Carole) Casperson, the late Arthur Casperson, and the late Kay Lill.

Rich enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt. Earlier in life, he enjoyed training dogs to hunt. He enjoyed bird watching with his wife of 54 years. Rich was a huge NASCAR fan, and he enjoyed watching with his grandchildren when they were young. Rich was very intelligent and loved caring for his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren, Rich was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rich's name to a conservation organization of your choice or your local food pantry.
