Richard Burns

Burns, Richard W., of St. Charles, MO, died on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the age of 74. Loving husband of 53 years to Linda Burns (nee: Millheim); beloved son of the late Nathaniel and Edna Burns (nee:Walker); devoted father of Jeffrey (Tracey) Burns and Michelle (Ken) Ritterskamp; cherished grandfather of Rachel Burns and Jacob Ritterskamp; dear brother of Dennis (Carolyn) Burns and Sandra Doebler.

Richard was a 1959 graduate of Milton High School in Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the Order of the Arrow, Assistant Scout Master, and an avid outdoorsmen. Richard retired after 50 years of service with ACF Industries and continued to work part time with them as a consultant. He was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ in St. Charles, Missouri and enjoyed hunting and walking all over St. Charles, but most of all he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
