Richard Branch

Richard Clark Branch, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, October 8,2023, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Linda Branch; cherished son of the late Joseph and Beatrice Vogel. Devoted father of Andrew Branch and April (William (BJ) Schulte; loving grandfather of Grace and William; dear brother of Dennis Branch; special remembrance, Tamara and Tonya Branch. Preceded in death by two sisters JoAnn and Judy.

Richard, a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, served with distinction and honor. He earned commendations for his marksmanship skills with the M14, achieving expert status with the M16. A member of VFW Post 2866, Machinist 777, and devoted participant at St Charles Borromeo Parish. Richard embraced the outdoors with a passion for hunting and fishing. His love for sports, especially for football and his love for service was displayed in his role as a coach for his children in various sports.

He had a loving marriage of 43 years to his wife Linda. He shared his love for cooking and a remarkable talent of craftmanship in various trades and hobbies. These talents flooded into an unwavering commitment to family shown through actions of his daily life.

Richard’s departure leaves a significant void, and he will be profoundly missed by those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

Memorials may be made in Richard’s name to The American Heart Association or Missouri Department of Conservation.
