Rice Edward "Ed" Carpenter, 60, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Ed was the beloved son of the late Glennarice and William E. Carpenter, Sr.; and dear brother of Kathleen J. Fabrio. Rice was survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by three half brothers, William E. Carpenter, Jr., Robert "Bobby" Leon Taylor, and Walter F. Taylor. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital.
