Burkhalter, Rev. Dr. Donald J.W., of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Marylou E. Burkhalter (nee: Wolfer); devoted father of Barbara Lou Schuette, Patricia Claire Burkhalter, and D. Douglas (Kathleen) Burkhalter; cherished grandfather of Paul and Jillian Schuette; and dear brother of Hazel Jean Langenbach. He is preceded in death by his parents August and Clara Burkhalter, his sister Lucille Smith, and brothers Victor and Leon Burkhalter.
