Regina "Jinkie" D. Ermeling

Regina “Jinkie” D. Ermeling (nee Romine), of Elsberry, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Erwin Henry Ermeling, Jr.; devoted mother of Dianne (Stephen) Eisenbath, Kathy Hunn, and Tracey Hardwick; loving grandmother of Alanna L. Hardwick, Laura E. Hardwick, Joshua T. Jurkowski, Kyle M. Eisenbath, Caleb X. Eisenbath, Veronica M. Hunn, Joseph R. Hunn, Zachary Jurkowski, and Matthew R. Jurkowski; great-grandmother of Ava L. Smith, Blake Klien, Kyson M. Eisenbath, and Kashton R. Eisenbath.

Regina lived life with an adventurous spirit and a determination to make the most of every moment. She enjoyed boating, spending time at the farm, and snowmobiling, always eager for the next adventure. A hardworking and independent woman, Regina proudly owned and operated her own business and accomplished much throughout her life. She retired after 20+ years working as a records clerk for the St. Charles Police Department. She was fortunate enough to check nearly everything off her bucket list, embracing new experiences and creating wonderful memories along the way.

Above all, family was at the heart of Regina’s life. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and the time she shared with them brought her great joy. Her strength, adventurous nature, and love for her family will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her. Regina was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
