Raymond J. Wagener

Raymond J. Wagener, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the age of 82. Loving husband of 62 years to Marcella Ann Wagener (nee: McKenzie); dear son of the late Edward B. and Carrie Wagener (nee: Wachlinger); devoted father David R. (Barbara) Wagener and Daniel W. (Debbie) Wagener; cherished grandfather of Joshua, Aaron, and Danielle and great-grandfather of Kaylee and Ladden. He is also survived by his sister in law Rita (Jim) Baumgardner and also by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Raymond is preceded in death by his four brothers and one sister. Raymond was a Chemical Operator at Mallinckrodt Chemicals for 38 years before he retired. He was also the President of UAW Local 1887 and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. In his spare time, Raymond enjoyed square dancing, reading and golf, but his main passion in life was his family. He was greatly loved and will be missed.
