Phillip L. Steele

Phillip L Steele, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Ruth Steele; cherished son of the late Arthur and Eva Steele; devoted father of Lynn (Mark) Hibbeler, Phillip M. Steele and Kim Rakiec; loving grandfather of Eric (Nidhi) Little, Nicholas Hibbeler, Adam (Jessica) Hibbeler, Jon (Kristen) Wiese, Jamie (Zach) Simko, Katy Wittwer, Kelly Aschbrenner, Sophia Steele and Marc (Samantha) Rogge; treasured great-grandfather of Violet Hibbeler, Julian Hibbeler, Neela Little, Roman Little, Ava Wiese, Everly Wiese, Oak Wiese, Jemma Rogge, Cameron Rogge and Laine Rogge; dear brother of the late Claude Steele.

Phillip proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He loved playing golf and spending time on the green. In his younger years he also enjoyed going hunting and fishing.

Phillip was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
