Christ, Philip E., of Saint Charles, MO, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Margaret F. Christ; beloved son of the late Philip and Sylvia Christ; devoted father of Margaret Ann (Louis) Niederberger and Rebecca S. (John) Cummings; cherished grandfather of Susan Niederberger, Sarah (Josh) Walker, Phillip Cummings, and the late Katie; treasured great-grandfather of Katelyn, Lauren and one on the way.
Philip proudly severed his country in the US Army fighting behind the enemy lines in the South Pacific in World War II. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith, was a lay minister and volunteer at a local nursing home where he touched many hearts for 30 plus years. He was a very talented carpenter and enjoyed making birdhouses.
Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
