Peggy Frances Purcell

Peggy Frances Purcell, of Ofallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 63. Cherished daughter of the late Thomas, Sr., and Florence Purcell; devoted mother of Kyle (Lara) Etling and Jenny (Jason) Cummins; loving Nana of Harland Cummins, Havannah Cummins, Kade Etling, Lainey Etling; dear sister of Mary, Tom, Jr., Joann and Jim.

Peggy was a fun-loving and vibrant soul who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed playing Monopoly, and never passed up a Pepsi or a refreshing strawberry slushie. Peggy had a special fondness for Disney and cherished traveling, especially trips to the beach. She took great pride in her work in the children’s department at Macy’s, where she enjoyed helping others and sharing her warm, friendly nature. Peggy’s smile, laughter, and kind heart touched the lives of those around her, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
