Paula Jean Harvey

Paula Jean Harvey (née Hinton), aged 56, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, following a courageous, year-plus battle with cancer.
Paula faced her illness with incredible strength, grace, and resilience, never losing her gentle spirit. She was an exceptional cook who cherished gathering those she cared about around the table, and she enjoyed dining out and sharing good food and laughter with her friends and family. She was a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and a compassionate animal lover who brought warmth to the lives of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her three loving sons, Chase, Danny, and Joe, and her eight cherished grandchildren. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends who supported her through all of life’s challenges, including her dear friends Barbara, Joyce, and Missy, her great aunt Shirley, and numerous others.
Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Craig, as well as her mother, Linda Hinton, and her father, Bobby Hinton, with whom she is now peacefully reunited.
An animal lover at heart, Paula treasured her home and the comfort of some of her favorite companions. She leaves behind her two cherished cats, Butters and Tiger, who brought her endless joy, comfort, and friendship throughout her life and especially during her final year-plus battle.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Paula’s boss, Steve, and his wife, Melissa, for their unwavering friendship and support. Their kindness and presence provided immense comfort to both Paula and her family during her battle with cancer.
Her family will remember her fierce love, her quiet bravery, and the peaceful moments spent in her company. A service to celebrate Paula’s life will be held at a later date.
