Paul "Danny" Daniel Schomaker

Paul “Danny” Daniel Schomaker, of Troy, MO, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Lorraine Boschert Schomaker; cherished son of the late John and Dorothy Schomaker; devoted father of Gary Schomaker, Sharon (Brian) Kavanagh, Karen Gerler and Donna Bogen; step-father of Debbie Jones, Larry (Kathy) Boschert, Keith (Debbie) Boschert and Duane Boschert. Dear grandfather of Sarah Bogen, Danny (Rachel) Bogen, Ashley (Kelly) Gibbs, Brittany Kavanagh, Brian (Sara) Kavanagh, Mickey (Keri) Kelly, Becky Sadler, Jake Eads and Jarad Schomaker. Step grandfather to Julie, Dustin, Michael, Tanner, Alex, Austin, Brett, Cody and Trinity and great grandfather to 21. Dear brother to Donnie (Judy) Schomaker, Tommy (Janet) Schomaker and Susie (Danny) Johnson. Loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. Danny is proceeded in death by his late wife Helen “Gwen” Schomaker, son Barry Schomaker and grandson Cody Gerler.

After graduating high school Danny enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served his country from 1958-1962. While in the Navy Danny learned his trade which led him to his career at Anheuser-Busch until he retired in 1998. Danny was a proud sheet metal worker and member of Local 36.

Danny was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and golf. Danny was also an avid sports fan who loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. In his spare time Danny enjoyed woodworking and making keepsakes for his family. No matter what he did, he always took great pride in his work.

Danny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
