Paul “Moon” Meers

Meers, Paul A. "Moon", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the age of 87. Loving husband of 58 years to Alice Meers; beloved son of the late William J. and Ada A. Meers; devoted father of Judi Redd, Pam (John) Purtle, Todd Meers, and Paula Meers who was his dear daughter and caregiver; cherished grandfather of Courtney Redd and Stephanie Purtle. He is preceded in death by his siblings Willis, Loraine, and Charles. Paul was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt, and golf. He was a member of St. Charles County Raccoon Hunters Club, and Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Charles, but most of all he loved his family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
