March 29, 1929 — June 24, 2017

Paul “Kermit” Schleeper of Saint Peters, MO, passed away on Saturday June 24, 2017, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 62 years to Loretta A. Schleeper; cherished son of the late William and Frances Schleeper; devoted father of Don (Karen) Schleeper, Debbie (John) Dukeman, Diane (Scott) Wilkinson, and Lisa (John) Burnett; loving grandfather of Michael (Victoria), Angela (Ben), John Jr. (Katie), Jim (Angela), Bob, Michelle (Jeff), Jennifer (Taylor), Matthew, Stephanie, Jacob, and Olivia; and treasured great-grandfather of Eli, Johnny III, Connor, and Liam. Paul is preceded in death by his siblings Marie Creech, Odett "Bud" Schleeper, and Edward Schleeper.

Kermit proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of IBEW Local 1 and American Legion Post 313. He was a devote catholic and said the Rosary several times a day. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He was affectionately called “Mr. Fix-it”, because of his talent to fix and make something out of nothing.  He enjoyed woodworking and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Paul was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation or Missouri School for the Blind.
