Patty Decker

Patty Decker (nee Brown), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Harold Eugene Decker; cherished daughter of the late Roy and Edith Brown; devoted mother of Jane Decker and Kathy Howard; loving grandmother of Jonathan Howard and great granddaughter Mikki Howard, dear sister of Janis (Phil) Albright, Jo Carnes, and the late Linda (Dean survives) Appleton.

Patty was born in Kokomo, IN and moved to the Saint Louis area with her family in 1959. She and Harold married on July 18, 1959, and enjoyed 64 years of marriage. 

 Patty loved singing and playing the piano. As a young woman she was often hired to perform at various events. She also enjoyed being employed at Prudential Bank for many years. Patty loved her church and remained a devoted Christian all of her life.

  She was an animal lover and cared for many pets through her years. She enjoyed cooking, and loved taking care of her home. Most of all, Patty loved being with her family, cats, and dog, Sheldon.

  Patty was a wonderful mom to her two daughters, a beautiful life-long partner to her husband, and a great friend to many. Patty was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
