Patricia Darling Johnson

Patricia Darling Johnson (nee Steimel), of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025, at the age of 67. Cherished daughter of Eliane Steimel; devoted mother of Melissa Payne, Jennifer Johnson, Matthew (Candise) Johnson, and Michael Johnson; loving grandmother of Donnie Payne, Makayla Payne, Ava Payne, Tyler Beck, Jason Beck, Marshall Orr, MarSha Orr, Sadie Johnson, and Evelyn Johnson; dear sister of Elizabeth (Daniel) Grainger, Renee (Darrin) Thompson, and John Steimel; beloved partner of Jeff Jansen.

Patty had a passion for cooking and was known as a big “foodie.” She loved traveling the world, with a special fondness for visiting the ocean, and cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. A caring and loving person, Patty was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
