Patricia Ann Agnew

Patricia “Pat” Ann Agnew (nee Marquardt), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Jim Agnew; cherished daughter of the late Herman Dean and Dorothy Maude Marquardt. Devoted mother of Peggy Ann (Rich) Baker and Michael (Masako Onodera) Agnew; loving grandmother of Brian (Theresa) Baker, Brent Baker; treasured great-grandmother “Gigi” of Kate Baker, Carly Baker, Natalie Baker, Lilly Baker, Harrison Baker, and Savannah Baker; dear sister of John (Susan) Marquardt; caring aunt, cousin, and friend to many. 

Pat was a devoted wife, married to her husband for 66 years. Together, they shared a passion for ballroom dancing, often spending evenings on the dance floor. She was an avid collector with a particular love for antiques, amassing hundreds of oil lamps and teddy bears over the years. Weekends were often spent antiquing with friends, a pastime she thoroughly enjoyed. Pat also had a love for golf, playing frequently and continuing the sport during winters spent in Arizona as a snowbird. Above all, she was a caring and wonderful mother who deeply cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pat was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
