In Loving Memory of Patrice Jean "Patty" Alms (née Fisher)

September 22, 1949-April 27, 2025

Patrice Jean "Patty" Alms, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 27, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Red Bud, Illinois, Patty lived a life marked by devotion to her family, a deep faith in Jesus Christ, and a passion for collecting and preserving cherished pieces of the past.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Patty poured her heart into caring for those she loved. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Roger Alms; her children, Dawn Rosenfield, Tiffany Scoggins, Brandon Alms, and Jon Alms; her cherished grandson, Justin Scoggins; and her first husband, Tom Wham. She is now reunited in peace with her firstborn son, Chris Wham, whose memory she carried tenderly in her heart.

Patty's greatest joy was caring for her family and creating a home filled with love and warmth. She also had a passion for collecting and reselling vintage items, sourcing rare finds-from Cabbage Patch Kids dolls to nostalgic schoolbooks. Among her favorites were grade school textbooks from the 1940s through the 1960s, including the Dick and Jane readers that once taught generations of children how to read.

Patty had a playful spirit and a musical heart. She sang, played instruments, and loved nothing more than sharing a Beatles tune and a good laugh.

Her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. Patty found comfort and strength in the pages of her many Bibles, each one a testament to her devotion.

Those who knew Patty will remember her as a gentle soul with a loving spirit and a heart anchored in faith. Her life was a beautiful story of enduring love, quiet strength, and grace.

May her memory be a blessing, and her legacy a light for all who loved her.

The family will honor Patty's life at a private ceremony.
