Oval G. Hankins

Hankins, Oval G., of St. Peters, MO, died on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the age of 76. He was the loving husband of Beverly Janet Hankins (nee: Phillips); beloved son of the late Oval Wesley and Hattie Pearl Hankins (nee: Sutton); devoted father of Donna Jeannette Collinson and the late Dennis Gene Hankins; cherished grandfather of Alyson Hankins, Dylan Collinson, and Danielle Collinson; treasured great-grandfather of Emelynn Cramberg and Rawlin Collinson; and dear brother of James Larry (Carolyn) Hankins, the late Helen Ryan, and the late Lawanda Martin. Oval is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.

Oval was an active member of the Masonic Lodge #46 of Wentzville for more than 50 years. He worked as an Industrial Engineer for General Motors and retired in 1990, after working there for over 32 years. In his spare time, he square dancing, playing golf, camping, playing the guitar, and travelling to Branson. Oval also loved attending his grandkids’ sporting events and cheering them on. Oval was loved very much and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Masonic Ceremony will be held at 7:00 pm during the Memorial Gathering.
