Orville Mayer, 84, passed away on May 2, 2014. Beloved husband of Alice (Leiber) Mayer and loving father of Bonita Leiber (Chris), Allen Leiber (Audrey), Karl Leiber (Angie), Steve Rogers and Rick Mayer. Cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of eleven. Survived by sister Lorraine Jones, brother Don Mayer, and nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by sister Vera Schneider and brothers Olin and Neal Mayer.
Orville worked for St. Charles Dairy for 40 years and St. Louis Crystal Water for 10 years. He loved boating on the lake and river. Orville was a mechanic's mechanic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SSM Hospice or Donor's Choice.
