A woman of strong Baptist faith, she was known for her warm heart, generous spirit and the comfort she brought to everyone around her. Whether she was baking her famous cookies and desserts, making sweet tea, preparing delicious meals for family gatherings or caring for children, Jean had a special way of making people feel welcomed, cherished and at home. She also adored her pets, especially her beloved little chihuahuas.
Jean spent many years driving a school bus and touched countless lives through her kindness, patience and caring nature. Family was always at the center of her life and she especially treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Kathy “Katie” Fleming; her sons, Jay (Lori) Kisor and Leigh (Janice) Kisor; her daughter, Bonnie (Dennis) Gittemeier and her cherished brother, James Crump.
