Nicholas Webb

May 9, 1986 — June 1, 2024

Anoka, Minnesota

Nick (Nicholas) William Webb of Anoka, MN passed away due to medical complications on June 1, 2024 at the age of 38 years. Nick was born May 9, 1986 in Kansas City, MO and later moved to St. Charles, MO.

Nick graduated from Francis Howell Central High School in 2004 and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Iowa State University. He was in the process of completing the coursework for his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa. He held leadership roles for multiple organizations and most recently was the Patient Financial Services Manager at RAYUS Radiology in Minneapolis, MN.

As a child, Nick was a typical boy; he loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario and began his love affair with sports. He got his first set of toy golf clubs at age three. He was a Boy Scout but had a horrible Pinewood Derby record (because he built the cars with no help). For many years, Nick played basketball and both indoor and outdoor soccer, including time with Ozzie Smith Sports Academy teams. His corner kicks were legendary.

His love of sports blossomed as he got older. It’s an understatement to say he was passionate about the St. Louis Blues, Kansas City Chiefs and Iowa State basketball. He not only watched the games but also participated in many fantasy leagues, actively followed the teams and players, and was a walking statistics database. Some of his happiest moments were watching the Blues win the Stanley Cup and the Chiefs win three Super Bowls.

In addition to sports, Nick’s other love was dogs. He grew up loving many family dogs and was a devoted dog Dad to his beloved Sadie, Mac and Louie. Boxers became an important part of his life.

Those who knew Nick appreciated his intelligence, quick wit, and kindness. He could debate politics and world events and in the next moment, quote lines from movies like “Happy Gilmore” and “Tommy Boy.” His road trips with Nikki were notoriously wacky and weird and they have special memories from a trip to Swedesburg, IA, where Nick voraciously learned the area’s Swedish history through an immersive tour.

Nick leaves behind his wife Nikki (Usher) Webb; his parents Sue (Michael) Quigley and Leonard (Kate) Webb; his sister Kennedy Webb and niece Eleanor McIntosh; and cousin Chris (Kelsie) Williams.

Preceding Nick in death were his maternal grandparents William and Marilyn Williams; his uncle David Williams; his paternal great-grandfather Dr. Leonard Higgins; his paternal grandmother Kay Jeanine Wallander; and aunt Kim Williams.

As mentioned, Nick loved all dogs, but especially Boxers. Memorials in Nick’s honor can be made to Rejection Collection Boxer Rescue https://gofund.me/4fd6ca6b
