Bruer, Nettie E., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late George Bruer, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Adolph and Mary Kemna; devoted mother of George (Barb) Bruer, Jr., Nancy (Kevin) Gunn, Gary (Joanne) Bruer, Patty Gallagher, Mary (Jay) Penfold, and Greg Bruer; cherished grandmother of Amy (Kenny) Booth, Kyle (Kelly O'Briant) Bruer, Corey Bruer, Caleb Bruer, Jessie (Kannon) Sanders, Tracey (Rob Hunt) Bowman, Neil (Erin) Gunn, Matt (Ashley) Gunn, Melissa (Chuck) Kincaid-Land, Elizabeth Penfold, April Bruer, Conrad Bruer, and Clayton Bruer; treasured great-grandmother of 15. She is preceded in death by her siblings Albert Kemna, Rose Williams, Pauline Smith, Emil Kemna, Helen Kemna, and Elsie Kemna. She was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Quilters and VFW Quilters.
