Nelda G. Thompson (nee: Edgemon), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 87. Loving wife of Robert N. Thompson; beloved daughter of the late Carl and Letha Edgemon; devoted mother of Donald L. Thompson and Nancy (Nelson) Eagle; cherished grandmother of Meghan (Joe) Hurst, Nick Thompson, Cameron (Tory) Fisher, and Kate Thompson; treasured great-grandmother of Mason, Brody, and Tanner Hurst, and Cooper Fisher; beloved aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many. Nelda is also preceded in death by her daughter, Kathe Miloni; sisters, Mary Grace, Margaret, and Lois.
Nelda was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. She loved children and was a preschool teacher and director for many years. Nelda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Nelda's name to Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
