Neal M. Mercille

Neal M. Mercille, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the age of 67. Loving husband of 44 years to Mary Mercille; beloved son of Marcella and the late Earl J. Mercille; devoted father of Shannon (Steve) Moorman and Melissa (David) Joseph; cherished grandfather of Alyson Moorman, Tyler Joseph, Camryn Moorman, and Carter Joseph; dear brother of Ronald (Judy) Mercille and Pam (Bob) Ellstrom. Neal is also survived by his cherished Golden Retriever, D.O.G.

Neal proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War (Semper Fi!).  He retired as a sergeant with the Bridgeton Police Department after more than 34 years.  He was involved with the Police Explorers for the Bridgeton Police Department, and he was a member of the Patriot Guard, and the Blue Knights.  Neal loved spending time with his family, and boating at the Lake of the Ozarks.  He enjoyed riding his Harley and going on road trips with his best friend Jim, where Smarties were a must!  He also loved listening to Neil Diamond and watching John Wayne movies.   He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
