Nancy Ann Moritz (nee Dyer), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of first husband, Carl Moritz and second husband, Robert Riley; cherished daughter of the late William W. and Mary Dyer. Devoted mother of Lesley (Tim) Steele, Kim (Patrick) Daniels, Stacy (Chuck) Miller, and the late Jocelyn (Nate) Greenstein; loving grandmother of six and great-grandmother of nine.
Nancy had a deep passion for painting, which led her to attend the Washington University College of Art to refine her craft. An adventurous traveler, she explored six of the seven continents, with a particularly memorable trip to China. Nancy thrived in the company of friends and family, bringing warmth and joy to every gathering. A talented and intuitive cook, she was renowned for her culinary creations, often preparing dishes without the need for recipes. Her chicken and dumplings were legendary, alongside her flavorful fish chowder and hearty pea soup. Additionally, Nancy was an avid reader, always eager to lose herself in the pages of a good book. Nancy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
