Nancy L. Wampler

Nancy L. Wampler (nee Nickell), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of 60 years to Mike Wampler; cherished daughter of the late Morton and Dorothy Nickell. Devoted mother of Beth Wampler and Bruce (Rosemarie) Wampler; loving grandmother of Jesse Wampler and Jacob Wampler; dear sister of Nicki Claytor, Joey Raab, and the late Jean Apple; aunt, cousin, and friend to Many.

Nancy was a woman with a kind and caring heart. She was a member of the Jaycee’s and P.E.O where she worked to help young women further their educations and donated time to help others in the community. Nancy was a woman of faith and attended First St. Charles United Methodist Church and College United Methodist Church in Warrenton with her husband. Family was very important to Nancy and she cherished the memories she made with her family, especially her two grandsons. Nancy always looked forward to her Nickell Girls reunion every other year. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed bridge, spending time with friends, and time on the beach. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Nancy's name to Alzheimer's Association.
