Nancy Goeke

Nancy Goeke of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Peyton; and her siblings, Patricia Voegelie and Alan Peyton.

Nancy is survived by her husband of over 48 years, Mike Goeke; her children, Steve (Stephanie) Goeke and Julie (Troy) Crum; her grandchildren, Ashlyn Crum, Elly Crum, Olivia Goeke, Andrew Goeke, and Kendall Crum; her mother, Henrietta Peyton; her siblings, Carol Bradford, Janet (Paul) Richterkessing, Sue Peyton, Betty Jane Peyton, and Bill Peyton; and her brother-in-law, Mike Voegelie.

Nancy served as board member for the Orchard Farm School District for twenty-seven years and five months. To date, she is the longest serving member in district history. She also worked as an accountant for the city of St. Charles for several years. For fun, Nancy enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, and playing with her friends in the same Bunco group they’ve had for 40 years. Above everything, Nancy loved kids and was totally and completely devoted to her grandchildren. You could always find her on the sidelines cheering them on. She truly cherished the memories they were able to make together over the years. Nancy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
