Nancy Carol Hampton

Nancy Carol Hampton, age 83 of Calverton Park, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
She was born to the late Carl Schiwitz and Ruth Pike Schiwitz on November 26, 1933, in Overland, Missouri and was raised in Elmo Fornfelt (Scott City). She attended Fornfelt High School in Scott City, Missouri, before meeting the love of her life Henry Delbert Hampton. Nancy and Henry had a wonderful life together with the welcoming of two children, Timothy Wayne Hampton and Deborah Hampton Tylka, seven grandchildren, Jennifer Hampton, Melissa Hampton, Laura Tylka Pascoe, Tyler Tylka, Jesse Palmer, Rachel Palmer Burks, Jason Palmer and four great grandchildren, Stella Tylka, Audrea Palmer, Jason Palmer Jr. and Jesse Palmer Jr. Nancy enjoyed relaxing in her gazebo, crafts, needlepoint, traveling and visiting family and friends. She was a very kind and witty person who loved her friends and family very dearly.
Nancy is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and is preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry Hampton, sister, Jane Helwig-Bannister, and brother, John Lawrence Schiwitz.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 16, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 17, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at Baue Funeral Homes, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s.
