Mona Mae Richard

Mona Mae Richard (nee Rawson), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at the age of 92. Loving wife of Jerry Wayne Richard; beloved daughter of the late John and Martha Rawson; devoted mother of Rick Thompson, Mike (Cheri) Richard, and Karen (Ted) Theis; cherished grandma to many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sons, Tom Thompson and Steve Richard; her siblings, Dale Holsten, Bud Holsten, Lindell Holsten, Florine Short, Fayrene George, Troop Rawson, and Laura Stout.

Mona enjoyed arts and crafts and loved quilting and painting flowers. She enjoyed nature and going for walks outdoors. Mona and Jerry were married nearly 48 years, married July 20th. Mona was loved by everyone who knew her, and she loved everyone. She liked to make candies and enjoyed cooking. She was raised in the bootheel of Missouri and loved to share her southern hospitality with her family and friends. Mona had a huge heart with a beautiful personality. Mona was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
