Modean Alma Jean Killian

Killian, Modean Alma Jean (nee Hudson) of Owensville, Missouri, passed away on Monday October 29, 2018, at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of the late Hubert Killian; devoted mother of Dennis (Wendy) Killian; loving grandmother of Dennis (Stephanie) Killian, Eric (Jess) Killian, Ethan Killian; treasured great-grandmother of James, Landon, Jacob, and Addie.

Modean is preceded in death by her parents Charley and Alice Hudson, daughter Sandra Killian, granddaughter Jamie Sue Killian, and her sister Vivadean Boatmon.

Modean was a longtime member of West End Church of Christ in Harvester, MO.  She loved to read all kinds of books, her favorite author was Catherine Cookson.  Modean had a collection of over 90 of her books. Her favorite hobby was going to thrift stores and finding a bargain.  She was very proud of those bargains.   Modean’s family was her pride and joy especially her grandchildren.  She loved cooking for her family and her specialty was her pineapple pie. Modean was dearly loved and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
