Mildred Mode

Mode, Mildred NEE: Stephens, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Willie Mode; beloved daughter of the late Irvin P. and Bernardine Stephens; devoted mother of Thomas (Shelley) Mode and JoAnn (Jeff) Weatherford; cherished grandmother of Jessica G. Mode, Sarah A. Weatherford, Thomas W. Mode, and Jimmy D. Weatherford; dear sister of Dorothy Roach and Dolores Haas. Mildred was also a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Ann Stephens-Witzel; and two brothers, Irvin "Bud" Stephens and John R. Stephens. She was employed as a Claim Representative at Missouri Division of Employment Security for 50 years and was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Ladies Sodality. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital.
