Koepke, Mildred "Mickey", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Victor Koepke (NEE: Tieman), cherished daughter of the late Louis and Tilly Tieman; loving mother of Michael (Lynn) Koepke, Patrick (Tracy) Koepke; dear sister of Lloyd Tieman, Jane Klusmeyer; admired grandmother of Matthew (Missy) Koepke, Kyle (Lisa) Koepke, Cody Koepke, and Nicole Koepke; great-grandmother of Chloe, Allie, and Lucas. She is preceded in death by her brother Leslie Tieman. Mildred worked side by side with her husband for over 40 years building their family business, Vic Koepke Excavating and Grading. She was a member of Pegasus Flying Club, Travel Club, and the Salvation Army. Mickey was a staunch member of the Lutheran church since her conformation on April 14, 1935. She liked to call herself an "arm chair" missionary, reporting on many missions. She received awards from the Hoffman Society and the Lutheran translation ministry, so that people in Africa can have a bible translation in their own language. She was also a strong supporter of the Salvation Army. In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
