Mildred A. Craig (née Roeper), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 79. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 wonderful years, William E. Craig; her son, Richard (Linda) Craig; and her sisters, Lucille Ballew, Margie (Jack) Hanke, and Jeanette (Dan) Bauer. She was a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Roeper; her grandson, Randall Craig; and her brother-in-law, Vernon Ballew.
Mildred was an active bowler and golfer and dedicated much of her time to volunteering with the St. Vincent de Paul Society and at her church. She loved playing bingo, cards, and dominoes, and found great joy in gardening and tending to her flowers. An excellent cook, she was especially known for her famous seven-layer salad and for graciously hosting the family’s annual Thanksgiving celebration. Mildred had a gift for organization and planning, and her thoughtful nature made every gathering feel special. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
